Getting the Valve Index to fit well is also easier, albeit slightly heavier than the Oculus Rift S. However, the head strap is shaped in a way that makes it much easier for users to distribute weight evenly. The straps aren’t cheap quality material either and feel more like a padded, soft t-shirt material so it’s ideal for extended game play or video watching. Even the audio is high quality.
I definitely recommend the Valve Index VR headset to anyone looking for a quality device and while it’s pricier than others, you won’t have to buy additional accessories to use it and it should last a long time. You will definitely get your money’s worth with the Index. So long as they continue taking notes of past failures and less-than-impressive features and keep improving their own device, users can depend on a quality, immersive experience every single time they use a Valve Index headset.
